Lenten Evening Prayer services

Join us on Wednesday evenings in Lent for evening prayer 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm in the ARK. This service will be weekly from February 25th thru March 25th.

TETELESTAI Campaign-Learn more at our TOWN HALL MEETING March 15th following service!

Have you heard about the TETELESTAI Campaign going on right now at Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship? Tetelestai in Greek means "It is finished" and was the final word of Christ when dying on the cross. He completed the work of salvation! We at Lakeshore want to "complete" payment of our mortgage - early! How early? This depends on the extra "blessings" of contributions to this fund. We are now accepting donations marked "Debt Reduction". Thank you!

After the mortgage has been paid off, we will continue the TETELESTAI Campaign thru 2028. This campaign will allow us to invest in much-needed facility improvements; including technology, HVACs and bring our kitchen up to code so we can better serve the community. You will be hearing more about the opportunity to make a formal commitment to the campaign, but for now...please consider making a special one-time donation toward paying off our mortgage. Our approximate net payoff is currently around $71,000.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

Our Community Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 4th at 10 am. Kids ages 1-10 are encouraged to attend! Volunteers to arrive by 8:30 am to help "hide" eggs and volunteers to arrive by 9:30 to help with registration. Invite your neighbors and friends!

We are now collecting pre-wrapped candies to go in our 2,000+ plastic eggs. (we have the plastic eggs, just need the candies).

Donations can be dropped off at the Information Center. Thank You!

Lakeshore's Weekly Prayer Theme

Prayer of the Week (Second Sunday in Lent)

Almighty God, you see that we have no power to defend ourselves. Guard and keep us both outwardly and inwardly from all adversities that may happen to the body and all evil thoughts that may assault and hurt the soul; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Remember in Your Prayers

The Lord's Business (Finances)

Weekly Financial Report

Did you know...Individuals age 59 1/2+ can make distributions from an IRA account? For those currently taking a "required minimum distribution" (RMD), there are added tax benefits.  Starting in 2026, you may make a "qualified charitable distribution" (QCD) of up to $111,000.00 from your IRA and pay ZERO TAX, provided gifts are a direct transfer to Lakeshore Lutheran from your financial institution. These distributions also qualify as part or all of your RMD requirement. The may even lower your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI), which can help avoid higher Medicare Part B premiums and other income-based limits.

If you are interested in blessing Lakeshore Lutheran with a charitable distribution from your IRA, please contact the church office or your personal IRA account representative. Thank you for considering this.
