  • Sunday Sermon - November 26th

These are the five themes we covered in our series, Bedrock Truth: Celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. What thoughts or questions did this series raise for you? This Sunday, we will have a Got Questions? message, where you can ask your questions about these themes or what we believe as a Lutheran church. The Scripture readings will be Jeremiah 23:5-6; Galatians 2:11-21.

  • All Congregational Meeting update - ARK Roofing Project

At our congregational meeting on November 5th, we had 57 members of Lakeshore in attendance. The approval was given to move forward with replacement of the roof on the ARK portion of the church building; which is planned for Spring of 2018. A contract has been secured and gifts for this project are welcome. Our anticipated need is up to, but not to exceed $50,000 per our contract. The congregation was also informed of a possible timeline of other future facility improvements (i.e. parking lot) to be considered at a congregational meeting in January (date is to be announced). In the New Year, we will discuss a possible capital campaign to fund any congregationally approved projects, plus potentially roll in any remaining roof deficit. If you missed the November meeting, please ask for a copy of the presentation.
