The Antichrist. 666. The mark of the Beast. Over the years there’s been a lot of wild speculation about this end-times enemy of God’s people. How are we to understand what Scripture says on these topics? And what does this mean for how we live as followers of Jesus? This Sunday we continue our series on the Book of Revelation with the message, “The Victory of the Lamb and His Followers” based on Revelation 12:1 – 14:13.

Faith Legacy Series is a DVD-based family ministry curriculum that helps parents be effective spiritual nurturers in the home from birth through high school. The classes include DVD teachings interspersed with small group discussions. The entire church supports families at the Blessing Events, which can happen during a worship service. Faith Legacy provides easy to use ideas and plans for parents to use at home. At the end of each faith step, parents are given the opportunity to speak a blessing over their child and present a blessing object. The object reminds the child of the discipleship skill they’ve been learning with their parents. To learn more, you can view the Faith Legacy Scope and Sequence on our website, www.lakeshorefellowship.com/grow/faith-legacy.
We will be asking for parents and volunteers to help. This volunteer effort is for only 3 meetings per year per age group. If you are interested in knowing more or are willing to lead a group of parents for your age child, please talk to Colleen Dierolf or Pastor Chris to find out more.

Looking for an opportunity to serve with your family this summer? Why not consider serving at Supper House in Muskegon. Lakeshore Fellowship always serves on the 2nd Monday of the month. Supper House provides more than a meal. People hunger for many things: food, attention, respect, dignity, love, opportunities, friendship, and a sense of “belonging”. Many come to Supper House because they provide their only meal of the day. Others come out of loneliness, hungering for company and friendships. Many are children who hunger for adult attention and appreciation. Others come because they hunger for a caring heart that will listen to their concerns. If you would like to be part of this ministry you can sign up at the Information Center or talk to Rick Dierolf for more information. Our next time to serve is August 11th. Dinner is served from 4–5:30pm. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40Lakeshore Fellowship is promoting this wonderful day camp opportunity to area non-churched families and plan to offer sponsorships to kids in need. Please consider any donation toward this opportunity. One full week of camp costs $ 169 per child. Checks can be made out to Lakeshore Fellowship with "SpringHill" in the memo section.
