Easter Sunday There will be Nursery at Both Services

Childcare will be provided at our 10:45am worship time as follows K-4th grade will join together in the ARK for an Easter video - "What's the Meaning of Easter?" Veggie Tales creator Phil Vischer along with Buck Denver and Friends - will help kids discover what Easter is all about!

Chris Pease will be sharing the message on April 27th as Pastor Chris will be at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Tea, SD for their building dedication (he was their first pastor).

SpringHill 2014 Summer Camp

This popular day camp will be hosted again by Lakeshore Fellowship, Trinity Reformed and Hope Reformed. Camp will be at White Pines Middle School in Grand Haven the week of August 11-15th. The camp is for area kids who have completed grades K-4th. You can register online anytime at http://springhillcamps.com/go/DayCamp/MI/Grand_Haven.aspx. Cost is $169.00 and $159 for each additional sibling(s). If you would like to be on a payment plan, please make sure you register before the end of April with a $50 deposit. Payments can then be made online. Please note that full payment will automatically be pulled the first week of May unless you call SpringHill and make arrangements to continue making payments. Sunday Nursery

The Nursery Ministry desires to provide a safe, loving environment for children; so that parents can feel comfortable as they attend worship. It is located in the ARK and is open during our 9am worship for ages birth ~ 36 months as well as during our 10:45am worship for ages birth ~ 17 months. (children 18 months ~ 36 months will meet in our new Toddler room) We have a paging system in the event you are needed during worship.

BAM (Big Adventure Ministry… for Kids) ~ Second Service ONLY

Each Sunday Preschool through 4th grade will continue their journey through the narrative of Holy Scripture! Join the fun in the ARK at 10:45am! 

2.52 (Kids Ministry – Wednesday Evenings – Preschool thru 4th grade)

Meets Wednesday evenings with $2.00 dinner at 5:30-6pm and program from 6:15–7:45pm. Kids invite your friends for this exciting and FUN adventure! Questions, contact Colleen. Final two weeks will be April 23rd meeting at Craig’s Cruisers & April 30th will be a potluck here at Lakeshore!

Invites OneHouse MOVE (our Senior Youth grades 9th–12th) & OneHouse Fray (our Junior Youth grades 5th–8th) to "HANGOUT" on Sunday mornings from 9:56am-10:45am in the Youth Room with hot cocoa, donuts, games and time with your friends!

MOVE (High School Ministry)

MOVE meets this Sunday, April 27th at 6pm. Bring your friends!

FRAY (Middle School Ministry ~ 5th - 8th Grade)

Meets every Wednesday evening, at 6:15pm through 7:45pm. Final two weeks! Meeting April 23rd at Craig's Cruisers and April 30th at Lakeshore with a potluck!

Meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30–8pm in the Prayer Room. All are welcome to join!

Fresh Hope

(Christian support group for those who suffer from mood disorders and those who love someone with such disorders) meeting on Sunday evenings at 6pm in the Prayer Room. Summer BAM (Children’s Ministry on Sunday Mornings)

Many of you are aware; Lakeshore will be having one worship service time throughout the summer (10am - June 1-August 31). With this new schedule, we want to give our regular BAM (children’s area) teachers a break from teaching for the summer. SpringHill Camp ~ Special Need

Sponsorships Welcome fo SpringHill Day Camp

Lakeshore Fellowship is promoting this wonderful day camp opportunity to area non-churched families and plan to offer sponsorships to kids in need. Please consider any donation toward this opportunity. One full week of camp costs $ 169 per child. Checks can be made out to Lakeshore Fellowship with "SpringHill" in the memo section.

Investment on your Returns! (Pop Bottle Returns)

You can invest in a kid this summer by helping to sponsor them at SpringHill Camp. You can either bring in your empties or return them to the store and bring your refund slips in and we’ll cash them in. Leave bottles in the Atrium by the blue bin or leave your refund slips at the Information Center.

Praise for Rick Yonker’s brother, Terry who has been released from his nearly 5 month stay in the hospital with Leukemia - now in remission.

Dan Tooker’s mother, will be having a second surgery for breast cancer on April 25th.

Summer 2014 Lakeshore Fellowship will be going to One Service

Sunday, June 1st through Sunday, August 31st; worship service will be at 10am only!

SCRIP

Lakeshore Fellowship participates in the Great Lakes SCRIP non-profit fundraising program. We sell gift cards to dozens of local businesses and have access to order gift cards from thousands of national businesses! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. This is a wonderful and easy fundraising program for non-profit organizations! We have many cards available in $ 5, $ 10 and $ 25 denominations. All make great gifts and support your church family here at Lakeshore! National Day of Prayer

Will be Thursday, May 1st at various local venues including Grand Haven City Hall and Spring Lake Township Hall. Gathering will take place outside the building site…Rain or shine…Midday 12:15-12:45pm. This is the 63rd Annual Day of Prayer! This year’s theme is “One Voice, United in Prayer”, based on Romans 15:6. “That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Everyone is encouraged and welcome to intercede for America and its leadership!

Appliance Ministry Needs Appliances

If you are planning spring renovations and replacement of your working appliances, please consider donating your gently used, working appliances to Love INC’s Appliance Ministry. They have over 20 families on a waiting list needing anything from washers and dryers to stoves and refrigerators. Contact Love INC at 846-2701 to make your donation. Thank you!

Spring Metal and Electronics Recycle Event Scheduled

Don't throw that stuff away!  Do what's right by the environment and bring them to the 1st CRC annual Recycle Event on Friday, May 2 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm & Saturday, May 3 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, in the parking lot of 1st CRC, 516 S. Hospice Volunteer Training to be Offered

Hospice Volunteers serve in a wide variety of capacities, including respite for a family, massage therapy, playing games with a patient, assisting in our office with administrative duties, baking cookies, doing minor repairs and the list goes on. Your special talents can be utilized to help provide services to a patient or family facing an end of life issue. Volunteer services are needed days, evenings and weekends.
