What a crazy busy time of year this can be! And it’s during this busy Christmas season that we sing about “Peace on Earth.” Can we really experience God’s peace when our lives are so harried and hurried? This Sunday we continue our Advent series, Waiting on God, with the message “God’s Peace in Unlikely Circumstances” based on Matthew 1:18-25.
Thank you for gracing the Worship Center with your donation.

Finally, these new envelopes are mailable (in case you miss a Sunday). Please pick up your family’s envelopes in the Atrium this Sunday.Your family contribution statements for 2014 giving will be sent out via email in January. Your free 8x10 photos are in! If you had your photo taken by Lifetouch and are waiting for your free 8x10 – they are at the Information Center this Sunday!
We are still missing a few family photos of members of Lakeshore! If would still like a photo taken, please plan to be in the Atrium after services on Sunday, Dec. 21st. Hillary Eddy has volunteered to take a professional quality photo that we can submit for you to Lifetouch (Lifetouch charges us $5 per submitted photo, so please help us with that cost).
As another option, you may also submit a previously taken vertical (portrait style) photo (cost is still $5). If you provide us with a photo (digital image preferred) you can still receive a free directory!! If you are not pictured in the directory, then you can order a directory for $5. (We will only receive the number of directories that match the number of family pictures.)
Submitted photos and orders of directories must be received by Monday, December 22nd!
Please note that the printed directories are expected hopefully in late January 2015.
At the end of worship you are invited to come to the Prayer Room (the door in the Worship Center next to the Kitchen) and receive prayer for whatever need you may be facing.
Pastor Chris and Tracy Boehnke and Pastor Dieter and Ruth Haupt will be hosting a 13-day trip to Germany from September 25 to October 7, 2015. This will be an opportunity not only to see beautiful sights in Germany, but also to tour the places that were significant for the Lutheran Reformation as we celebrate its 500th Anniversary. Information brochures about the trip are available at the Information Center.
