Our lives are determined by which tree we eat from: the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil or the Tree of Life. Do we put ourselves in the center seat of judgment or is God at the center? This Sunday we continue our series, Turning From Religion: Leaving Judgment Behind for the Love of God, with the message, "What Happens When We're at the Center of Life?" Our Scripture reading Genesis 2:7-9; 3:1-7.
The Altar Flowers are given to the Glory of God!
Altar flowers are available for sponsorship ($25) in November and December, please sign up at the Information Center!
At the end of worship you are invited to come to the Prayer Room (the door in the Worship Center next to the Kitchen) and receive prayer for whatever need you may be facing. You may also write your prayer requests on the back of Sunday's Connection Card.
Please help support them by bringing specific recycling from home to Lakeshore! In the back area of our parking lot you will notice a large Green “Paper Gater” bin. We are encouraging you to bring your unwanted newsprint, catalogs, magazines, regular paper, junk mail, telephone books, as well as hard and soft cover books. These items are then re-purposed for cat litter, hydro-seeding mulch, and small animal bedding. Please note, this bin does not accept any plastic, metal, glass, cardboard or paperboard (cereal box material). We will continue to recycle those “other” products in our blue bin located in the kitchen. Thank you all for your support!
