Sunday Sermon

Everyone is worried about the economy and the rising costs of health care.  Everyone is concerned about how to make ends meet. In the midst of bills to pay and groceries to buy, the Lord invites us to call out to Him and "Thankfully Receive His Provision in Prayer."  This is the message for Sunday based on 1 Kings 17:1-24.

Need Prayer?

At the end of worship you are invited to come to the Altar area to receive prayer. You may also write your prayer requests on the back of Sunday's Connection Card.

Recycle your metal & electronics all year long!

First Christian Reformed Church of Grand Haven has annually held a Metal & Electronics Recycling Event. Unfortunately, they are unable to hold it this year. But the GOOD NEWS is their Recycling Ministry now operates year round! They offer free Tri-Cities area pick up of your metal & electronic items (no TVs or computer monitors…sorry!). They also have a free drop-off site by the church that is available 24/7. If you have metal or electronics to recycle, please call their church office, 616-842-6370, to schedule a free pick up or get details about dropping off your items. Remember, if it’s metal, has a cord or battery, is unusable or unrecognizable, they can recycle it. Check out for a listing of recyclable items. Thank you for helping take care of our small piece of God’s good earth!
