Launching Faith Legacy ~ Parents, Grandparents and Congregation! We need all of you to make Faith Legacy a success!

There will be an informational meeting in September for parents and those interested in being facilitators. Watch for more details coming soon.

Birth – Age 8 (3rd Grade):
Parents meet every two years.  A parent facilitates/hosts the three sessions in their home or church.  They watch a video at each session and discuss the video.  There is a discussion guide provided for each age.

5th/6th Grade: Parents participate with their student in a Mother/Daughter – Father/Son weekend retreat.

7th-12th Grade: Parents and students participate together in one day seminar.

Blessing Events: Each age group will conclude with a Blessing Event during a Worship Service.  Parents will read a blessing over their child and the child will receive a blessing object as a reminder of the Legacy Points.

Facilitators needed for each age level: Birth – eight year olds, parents will facilitate/host three weeks.  5th-12th Grade, someone other than a parent is needed to facilitate so students and parents can participate together.

All DVDs and Discussion Guides are provided for you. Talk to Colleen Dierolf for more information or if you are interested in hosting in your home or facilitating a parent/student event. 616-846-8556 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Scrip

Supporting Scrip this springtime means supporting a child to go to our SpringHill Day Camp this summer! Please stop by the Information Center this Sunday to learn more about it…or call Jerry Goresch at 616-212-8967. Don’t know what Scrip is? Lakeshore Fellowship participates in the Great Lakes SCRIP non-profit fundraising program. We sell gift cards to dozens of local businesses and have access to order gift cards from thousands of national businesses! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore.

New Ways to Purchase Scrip

Start by:

  1. Signing up for SCRIP at the Info Center with Jerry Goresch
  2. Jerry will give you a User Name & Password on the spot
  3. Wait 24 hours
  4. You’ll be asked to fill out a form (Prestopay) that includes your banking information. SCRIP purchases will then come directly from your banking account.
  5. Now you’re able to purchase SCRIP directly from your computer or smart phone.

 How it works:

  1. Access your SCRIP account at shopwithscrip.com.
  2. Search for a merchant.
  3. You can purchase gift cards.
  4. OR purchase “SCRIPNow”. If at a participating store, be logged in & ready at shopwithscrip.com, purchase the amount needed (increments vary store to store) your e-card will come up on your phone, show it (bar code) to the cashier who will scan it for payment. Sometimes the e-card takes up to 20 minutes so it may be best to estimate what you will spend. Examples of stores are Walmart, Cabelas, Amazon, Buffalo Wild Wings & more!
  5. OR “Reload” a gift card you already have. Stores like Meijer, Lowe’s, Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and more participate!

**PLEASE NOTE NOT ALL 3 FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR EVERY MERCHANT.
