  • Sunday Sermon - February 18th

    Now in the season of Lent we focus on what it means to follow Jesus to the cross and the empty tomb. Our new series titled "The Jesus Way" begins this Sunday with the message, "See Jesus with the Eyes of Faith" taken from John 9:1-41.

  • Congregational Meeting

  • Easter Lily Orders

    As we once again celebrate our Lord’s glorious resurrection, we again offer you the opportunity to sponsor Easter lilies which will be displayed in the Worship Center on Easter Sunday, April 1st. Easter lilies come in 6” pots and have 5+ blooms for a cost of $7.50 each. Order forms are available at our Information Center and are due by Sunday, March 18th.

  • Junior High Youth Gathering

    BIG NEWS...Our Junior High Youth will be traveling to Frankenmuth, MI for the 2018 LCMS Jr. High Gathering (Friday, June 1st thru Sunday, June 3rd)! This is for all current 5th graders thru current 8th graders. Cost will be $70 per student and must sign up at our Information Center by Sunday, February 18th.   • Women's Retreat

    Life is busy, and it's hard to find a minute to stop and breathe. But you can't pour into other people if you are running on empty yourself. Come up to Cran-Hill Ranch and  enjoy a weekend of worship, fellowship, and time in the word with other women. Allow their staff to serve you, and provide a worry-free weekend. Over the three-day retreat, there will be plenty of activity sessions to choose from, live worship each day, and refreshing sessions with our speaker Shannon Popkin.   • Thrivent Choice Dollars

    Many of you have insurance through Thrivent Financial. Did you know Thrivent gives back to your favorite church or charity?   • Theology on Tap

    Pastor Chris and Jim Albright have started a new men's outreach called Theology on Tap. Men, please prayerfully consider inviting men you know who are unchurched or who have doubts or questions about Christianity. Bring them to this evening, where we can freely discuss together questions about Christianity over a beer in a safe, non-threatening environment. Theology on Tap will be at Odd Side Ales on every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm. Men, bring a friend, and enjoy some Theology on Tap!

  • Household Necessity Pantry

    Immediate Job Opening for our Bookkeeper Position. Randy Vanderwal, who has faithfully served as our Bookkeeper for almost 5 years, has resigned his role to pursue other opportunities. Please let us know if you are interested in applying for this part-time position. The job requires a minimum of an Associate Degree in Business or 2 years accounting experience, detail oriented, ability to work independently, and self starter. This part-time position will have flexible hours, no benefits, 10-20 hours/week at startup; 10-12 hours/week ongoing.   • Scrip

    Proceeds from Scrip sales is now going toward the ARK Roofing Project! Help us earn free money to help pay for our project! We order cards from thousands of merchants locally and nationally! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. Scrip will be available on Sundays following service (in the Atrium) and in the church office on Mondays thru Thursdays from 9 am-2 pm.   • AGAPE

    Members of Lakeshore Fellowship may be familiar with AGAPE. If not, this is a special account of which members can financially designate funds toward; in order to support other Lakeshore Fellowship members that may have dire financial needs. (This account previously was financially funded by Scrip, however, funds from Scrip are now supporting our roofing project.) We have a team that manages AGAPE and analyzes each need as they come forward. Applications for support are available in the church office.

    If you have the means and feel led to support AGAPE, please note your contribution for "AGAPE" when utilizing your giving envelopes (or somehow note your contribution). Thank you!

  • Camp Concordia

    Are you looking for other ways to nurture faith in your children or grandchildren?  Camp Concordia, our Lutheran camp just 1 hour east of Grand Haven, supports your job as parents by providing fun, but serious, young adults who share their faith in Jesus in a safe, healthy, summer overnight camp environment.  They’re so serious about taking care of your kids they raise money each year to have two cabin group counselors in each cabin.  Kids are never left alone.  Invite your neighbors and friends to check out www.campconcordia.org.  It’s a great way to share Jesus with the unchurched.

  • Bring in your empty printer/ink cartridges for recycling

    Our office is collecting your empty ink cartridges and recycling them for savings at a local store. Please help us defray the cost office supplies. Bring in your empty cartridges and give them to the person behind the Information Center. (There will be a container under the counter for them to place them in.)     If a service or any event is ever cancelled here at Lakeshore, we will post on Facebook and our website at www.lakeshorefellowship.com as well as let the news media know by 3pm Monday thru Saturday and by 7am Sunday.
