Sunday Sermon, March 26th

People cry out for justice in an unjust, broken world filled with tragedy and loss. We pray for God to heal and restore, but will He? The only confident assurance we have is The Heart of God revealed in Jesus that "God Will Put All Things Right." This is our message for this Sunday based on Luke 18:1-14.

Memorial Service for Paulette Boeger

The memorial service for Paulette Boeger will be on Saturday, April 8th here at Lakeshore Fellowship (16790 Van Wagoner Rd. Spring Lake). Visitation begins at 1 PM with service beginning at 2 PM. A social time will follow the service.

Easter Lily orders

Orders for Easter Lilies are now being accepted. Plants are $ 7.50 each. Order forms are available at the Information Center or call the church office at 616-846-8556. Orders are due by Sunday, March 26th.

Seder Meal

Lakeshore Fellowship will be hosting a Seder Meal on Maundy Thursday, April 13th at 6-8 pm. You must register to attend this event. Cost will be $ 4 per person. Sign-ups will be taken at the Information Center. This will truly be a wonderful event that you won't want to miss! Questions, please call the church office at 616-846-8556. 

Parking

As a courtesy to our visitors, please keep the closest parking places, near the sidewalk, for our guests. We are now also reserving 2 specific parking places “just for visitors”. They are the first two spots before the Handicap spots, near the sidewalk. Thank you all for your willingness to give our GUESTS the BEST parking! (Hospitality Team members, please remember to bring the Guest Parking signs inside after second service. Thank you!)

Sunday Children's Ministry

Nursery will be provided at both services (9 am & 10:45 am) and Big Adventure Ministry (B.A.M.) for K-4th grade will be during our 10:45 am service. In B.A.M. we will be presenting the Gospel Project. The Gospel Project is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for Kids, that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, they will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God's plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God! 2.52 (K - 4th Grade) & Fray (Middle School)

2.52 This Wednesday is Family Night Potluck, meat a beverage will be provided, please bring a dish to pass. Parents will learn the songs we’ve sang this year, hear a review of the year, kids will receive attendance awards, and 4th graders will be promoted to Fray.

Youth Lock-In

MOVE & Fray students...get ready for a Lock-In at Lakeshore! Pack your sleeping bags; but they might not be used for sleeping in. Join the fun on Friday, April 7th at 7 pm. MOVE (High School Ministry)

MOVE meets EVERY Sunday evening at 6 pm in our Youth Room. This is for all 9th - 12th graders! Bring your friends! Have a great time together!! Final night is March 26th! Faith Legacy Series


Is a family ministry curriculum that helps parents be effective spiritual nurturers in the home from birth through high school. We are incorporating this ministry here at Lakeshore. Parents, Grandparents and Congregation - We need all of you to make Faith Legacy a success! Age "Birth" will be having their final two seminars on Sunday, April 2 & 23 at 12:30 pm in the ARK. 

Blessing Event for 6 year olds will be this Sunday, March 26th at our 10:45 am service. Those being blessing include; Jacob Wallish, Bellamie Deater, Christian Sanchez, Raylee Kiser, and Bentley Kiser.

Crossways Adult Education Class

GAP ~ God Answers Prayer

Fresh Hope

A Christian support group for those who suffer mood disorders & for those who love someone with such disorders. The group meets with Jen Sauers on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 1-2:30 pm in the Prayer Room. Questions, please contact Jen at 616-546-1648.

Kid’s Books Library - Sharing Cart

Check out our book cart in the Atrium! Have a Book? Give a Book! Need a Book? Take a Book! The sharing cart is located in the Atrium near the Children's area. There will be no "formal" check out process. You can simply take a book to read and return it when you are done. If you have books to donate, we welcome them.

Property Clean-up for Lakeshore Fellowship

Begin Collecting and Filling Easter Eggs for our Annual Egg Hunt!

We are collecting "wrapped candy filled plastic Easter eggs" for our Community Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th at 10 AM. Our goal is 3,000 eggs! We have collected 1,321 eggs so far! We need 1,679 more! Donations can be dropped off in the children's area in the decorated Easter box. Thank you all!!

Supper House

Our church supports Supper House in Muskegon every 2nd Monday of the month. Our next date to serve is Monday, April 10th. We gather at Lakeshore at 3:15 pm, then carpool to the location. This is a great opportunity to try serving in the mission field with your family or your Community Group. Scrip

We order cards from thousands of merchants locally and nationally! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. Scrip will be available on Sundays between services (in the Atrium) and in the church office on Mondays thru Thursdays from 9 am-2 pm. Reminder: Script purchases can also be made online. Household Necessity Pantry

Our next Household Necessity Pantry will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 9 am.

Lakeshore Fellowship is seeking to fill the position of a Director of Family and Student Ministry. This position will oversee, plan, and implement the Children's Ministry, Family Ministry, and Student Ministries of Lakeshore in coordination with those ministry teams. This position is part-time (25-30 hours a week) and includes some evening and weekend hours. This is an hourly position with no benefits. presents - Changing Lives through the Gift of Education At Seven Steps Up, Spring Lake on Monday, April 24, 2017,  7-9 p.m. Music by Sherri Casey & Doug Heins and presentations by Honduran college students! All proceeds to go toward the support of Honduran orphans attending the Abundant Life Christian Schools in La Union and Yamarangilla, Honduras. H.O.M.E. has partnered with ALCS to provide sponsorship to children attending the bilingual schools in Honduras. Paper Gator ~ Fundraising Opportunity for Our Children and Youth!

Please help support them by bringing specific recycling from home to Lakeshore! In the back area of our parking lot you will notice a large Green “Paper Gator” bin. We are encouraging you to bring your unwanted newsprint, catalogs, magazines, regular paper, junk mail, telephone books, as well as hard and soft cover books. These items are then re-purposed for cat litter, hydro-seeding mulch, and small animal bedding. Please note, this bin does not accept any plastic, metal, glass, cardboard or paperboard (cereal box material). We will continue to recycle those “other” products in our blue bin located in the kitchen. Tell your friends they are welcome to use it! Thank you for your support of this program!

Bring in your empty printer/ink cartridges for recycling

Our office is collecting your empty ink cartridges and recycling them for savings at a local store. Please help us defray the cost office supplies. Bring in your empty cartridges and give them to the person behind the Information Center. (There will be a container under the counter for them to place them in.) Tri-cities Ministry

TCM Counseling is having its biggest fundraiser of the year on May 6, 2017. A Night at the Derby, will be a Kentucky Derby themed event. This will be an evening you don’t want to miss with Derby themed food and dueling pianos! Wear your favorite hat! There will be raffle tickets that you can place on horses for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Cancun.
