This popular day camp for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 4th grade will be held White Pines the week of August 11th-15th. The Nursery Ministry desires to provide a safe, loving environment for children; so that parents can feel comfortable as they attend worship. It is located in the ARK and is open during our 10am worship for ages birth-18 months. Children 18 months-36 months should enter the Toddler Room and K-4th in the ARK. We have a paging system in the event you are needed during worship.
We will be going to Michigan's Adventure on Monday, August 4th. Meet at LFC at 10:30am. Price is $26.50 (if we get 25 people, add $4.50 per ticket if less than 25) and due by Sunday, July 13th. Payment made out to LFC & can be put in the Student Ministries box attached to the Info Center. Don’t forget to bring extra money for food as well as pack a lunch to store in our coolers. Parent drivers will be needed. Parent Consent Form needs to be on file. If you can drive please contact the church office. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!!!New this summer! Women’s Bible Study in August beginning on the 4th! This group will meet in the morning (for those who can attend) and repeat the study again that same evening (for those who like evening better). Location for our 10am group will be at the Spring Lake Beach (Savage to Lake then north to Beach). Our 7pm group will meet at church. Kathy Troccoli event "Hope's Alive" will be in Grand Rapids will be September 12-13. We pre-purchased 20 tickets at the super saver rate ($30 each) and are available on a first come basis by contacting Jayne in the office. If we have more than 20 that sign up, we can get more tickets; but they may cost a little more, so let us know ASAP.

We want all kids to have the opportunity for a positive camp experience. There are a few kids who need to have one-on-one attention. We are in need of volunteers who would be willing to spend each day with one of these kids. Please contact Colleen Dierolf for details or 616-846-8556.

You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. This is a wonderful and easy fundraising program for non-profit organizations! Thrivent is hosting two summer events for members and guests; so all are welcome! The two events include: Whitecaps Ball Game Night on Saturday, July 19th and a Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Holland Princess on Friday, August 22nd. W.O.W. is every Sunday night, June 22nd-August 24th from 7:30-8:45pm at the Grand Haven Waterfront Stadium. A leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings will host their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings on September 9, 2014 here at Lakeshore Fellowship. Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. Register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vascular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149. All five screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete. Also, we are happy to announce that Life Line Screening is working with us to provide our members $10 additional discounts off of a screening package in addition to a $10 donation to Lakeshore Fellowship Church. Please note that you must sign up by calling the special Helping Hands registration number, which is 1-800-324-9458, in order for us to receive our $10 donation as well.
